Mayfield Village, Ohio is seeking a full-time Finance Director to be the head of its Finance Department and the fiscal officer of the municipality. Per the Mayfield Village Charter, the Finance Director must be duly registered with the State of Ohio as a public accountant or certified public accountant.
The Finance Director serves the Mayor and Council as a financial advisor in connection with municipal affairs, keeps the financial records of the municipality and acts as the custodian of all public money of the municipality.
The Finance Director is an active and collaborative member of the Village’s Administration. The selected candidate will be replacing the current Finance Director who is retiring after 15 years with Mayfield Village.
The annual salary for the position is up to $123,745 and includes an excellent employer-subsidized health care plan, a competitive vacation and time-off package, and participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. Five-years’ experience in either municipal or private-sector finance is preferred. Proficiency in Civica CMI Authority Finance is a plus, but not required.
